RE China Asia Expo has enjoyed tremendous growth since its debut in November 2004 in Shanghai. RE China, produced by RE China Expo Inc. in association with Recharger Magazine, has now become one of the premier trade shows in the worldwide imaging supplies aftermarket industry. RE China Asia Expo is hosted in Shanghai, the largest city in China, which is quickly becoming a world-class metropolis and is the showcase of China's rapid economical growth.
China is home to more than 50 million computers, 162 million Internet users, 26 million printers, 100,000 printing companies, and produced 61 million toner cartridges in 2007. Undoubtedly China is one the world's largest markets for printing consumables.
RE China Asia Expo 2008 bustled with 8,500 visitors and 406 exhibitors from around the world. The growth led the event to move to a larger venue for 2009. The Shanghai New International Expo Center, located in the newer Pudong section of Shanghai, is the largest modern exhibition center in Asia, with more than 200,000 square meters of indoor space.
