Bay Copy’s current product line includes Konica Minolta and Muratec products, and the firm is an authorized service provider for HP. The addition of the Lexmark family of products positions Bay Copy as the first and only Massachusetts firm to be a Business Solutions Dealer for Lexmark.
As a Business Solutions Dealer, Bay Copy joins an elite group of less than 100 dealers in the United States. Bay Copy CEO Ray Belanger said that this is an expanded Lexmark initiative to reach out to the smaller and mid-sized business market. Lexmark has made this program a high priority within the organization. They realize that companies like Bay Copy have the ability to offer high levels of personalized service support that are not available through other distribution.
The program that Bay Copy has joined enables the Rockland firm to sell and service an extensive array of office products for business use. There are specific products designed for this program that include MFPs in addition to the full traditional Lexmark printer product line. Bay Copy will send its senior service technician, David Newton, to the Lexmark U.S. Training Center in Lexington, Ky. for service training.
“This will help us reach into new markets that are receptive to higher levels of support then they are accustomed to,” Belanger said. “We have been very impressed with the level of support that we have received from Lexmark as we partner with them in this Massachusetts effort.” Belanger noted that Lexmark has a local support center in Waltham. “This is a key part of their company’s expansion into new markets, both geographically and by vertically, and they are committed to making a difference,” Belanger said. “We are looking forward to working with them.”
In addition to a full line of Konica Minolta, Muratec, and Lexmark equipment, Bay Copy provides new technology and connectivity solutions for customers looking to reduce both their per-impression price of generating information and their labor costs.
