NER Data Products, Image1 Invest in Key Personnel

GLASSBORO, N.J. — NER Data Products and Image1, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NER, continue to invest in key personnel to drive value and quality in the imaging, printer parts and IT industries.

While many companies are scaling back, NER, under the leadership of President Steve Oatway, are making key investments to further grow and improve its products and services.

“By following principles that guided the company for more than 37 years, I want to ensure we develop the highest quality, first-to-market products and services for our partners and their customers,” Oatway said. “One key principle is having the right people in the right positions. Our new team members bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit the entire organization and these are benefits that will be realized in the marketplace.”

The recent additions of Jim Loden to GM/VP Image1, Celia Velasco as corporate quality director and Eric Austin to imaging supplies product manager are important to improving what exists today while developing new solutions that address tomorrow's needs.

Loden has 20 years of executive management with such companies as Circuit City, Golfsmith and CompUSA. Loden spent the last 11 years with CompUSA, most recently as the vice president of commercial sales, where he took over a $300-million business and grew revenue to $1.5 billion in three years.

The commercial/SMB business at CompUSA sold IT solutions, infrastructure, imaging supplies and services. Loden's experience with HP, among other strategic suppliers, will serve him well within the organization.

Velasco has a long and successful background in quality systems and compliance programs. She is a seasoned professional with experience from companies that include Lockheed Martin Aerospace Division and American Cable. Her primary focus is to standardize quality systems and execution in all NER and Image1 business units.

Austin holds an MBA in management from York College of Pennsylvania and has significant experience with product management and large accounts management. Austin is responsible for market analysis, marketing programs and product management within the supplies products division.

“Quality people are primary components to overall excellence within the organization and in the delivery of our products and services. We will continue to make the right strategic moves to ensure our long-term success and hold ourselves to a higher standard,” Oatway said.
