Ricoh Forms Alliance with Net Integration

March 12, 2007
Net Integration Technologies announced that it has formed an exclusive alliance with Ricoh Corporation to deliver a complete IT solution for the small to medium size businesses (SMB). Ricoh has been delivering Office Products for more than 50 years and is transitioning into a major IT solution provider. The companies will work together to tightly integrate the typical office copying, printing, faxing, scanning and Document filing & storage features into the Nitix, “Network in a Box” solution for small to medium business.

“Small to medium size businesses are looking to streamline the amount of time and investment of the their office IT requirements. They want to run their business not their network and document solutions”, states Wayne Mize VP of Netsourcing Business Center for the new Ricoh Document Services and Solutions Division (DSSD). “With this partnership Ricoh can become the single-source IT provider and trusted advisor for the end customer. Nitix is the enabling technology that allows Ricoh to provide greater value and services to the SMB customer that were previously only available in major enterprises due to cost.” The partnership will enable us also to incorporate new services and technology through our Netsourcing group within DSSD.”

“NIT sees the transformation of the copier industry as a critical evolution and wants to work with Ricoh to be the standard for IT infrastructure for the SMB community”, according to Dan Kempf- Director, Business Development Digital Office Solutions. Ricoh is an important market segment for our growth. The multifunction product is evolving into a total document and network solution portal. For the first time an office products company can deliver what customers need in a complete IT infrastructure while having to deal with only one vendor.”
