Lanier introduced the Lanier LD325 and LD330, two digital multifunction products (MFPs) that deliver 25 or 30 black-and-white pages per minute with 600 dpi resolution. Both systems offer digital copying, network printing, high-end scanning, optional faxing, and optional finishing. The systems will be available immediately.
“These systems make document management faster, easier, and more secure,” said Dominic Pontrelli, vice president of Marketing for Lanier. “Small and midsize workgroups will appreciate how much they can accomplish with the LD325 or the LD330. Both MFPs are easy-to-use and bring together an extremely strong set of features in a cost-effective, reliable design.”
Security features include a detailed job log, Microsoft Windows network authentication, Hold Print, Stored Print, and Copy Guard Protection, which renders output from these systems illegible if unauthorized users attempt to copy documents on a similarly enabled device.
The LD325 and LD330 also offer a wide range of document distribution tools, including scan-to-
email, scan-to-URL, and scan-to-NCP for Novell network environments. Other options include 33.6 kbps faxing, IP faxing, a 1,000-sheet finisher, a 500-sheet finisher with stapling, and a new high-function, low-price RPCS-only print controller.
“No matter what kind of work end-users need to do, the LD325 and the LD330 have what it takes to improve productivity and overall convenience,” Pontrelli said.
Both systems can also be configured with remote monitoring and management tools, including software that automatically alerts administrators or service technicians via email when maintenance is required.
