OKI Implements New Brand Statement

Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. today announced that it has standardized its brand name to OKI (pronounced: [óuki]), to strengthen its global brand awareness worldwide. OKI also unveiled a brand statement, "Open up your dreams," which expresses the values that shape OKI''s identity and brand, and will be used in its group-wide marketing activities.

"We are happy to introduce ''Open up your dreams,'' as our brand statement as we celebrate our 125th anniversary today. This brand statement expresses our aim to realize the ''e-society,'' which is a society that fulfills the dreams and hopes of OKI''s stakeholders," said Katsumasa Shinozuka, President and CEO of Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. "It also expresses our dream to open the doors for people around the world to a safe and reliable society, where we can lead lives that are enriched, safe and secure."

OKI will continue to improve the value of the OKI brand as a trusted partner respected by all our customers, and will deploy this brand statement on all business cards, catalogs and advertisement materials in Japan as in countries throughout the world.
