Ricoh Corporation launched the Ricoh Aficio MP C2500 and Aficio MP C3000, versatile, color multifunction products (MFPs) offering print, copy, scan and fax capabilities in a space-saving design. These multifunction devices provide the speed of black and white in high-quality color prints, while boasting outstanding security features for any size organization.
Designed with the end-user’s document workflow in mind, the Aficio MP C2500/C3000 Series is able to meet the demands of any individual in any department of any business. With full color and black & white output speeds of 25 and 30 pages per minute (ppm) respectively, the Aficio MP C2500 and Aficio MP C3000 will satisfy users with the most demanding production schedules, while features such as the oversized, full-color LCD panel, Web Image Monitor and SmartDeviceMonitor make programming and monitoring convenient for users.
Ricoh’s patented PxPTM Toner technology ensures color documents produced by the Aficio MP C2500/C3000 Series exceed the standard for color quality in the office. Additionally, the 3,100-sheet paper supply (with optional Large Capacity Tray) allows users to produce documents with multiple media types, weights and orientations. A variety of professional finishing options, such as automatic stackless, duplexing and an optional 1,000-sheet Booklet Finisher, give users the ability to customize the final output to meet specific publishing needs.
Document sharing is simplified as well with the Aficio MP C2500/C3000 Series through its flexible distribution system. Ricoh Scan-to technology makes it simple to send all types of documents to any location -- instantly and securely. Users can even create new documents from existing work by combining electronic and hard-copy files, even files created in different applications on different computer platforms. The built-in Document Server acts as an electronic repository for information, which is then easily accessible for re-printing, re-faxing or editing. In addition, faxes can be sent directly from the PC, and photos printed directly from a digital camera, without the need for a computer.
Ricoh continues to lead in providing the most current security features to satisfy the entire spectrum of document and network security requirements. There are several authentication methods to control access to system functions or restrict color usage, data and password encryption to limit access to sensitive information, and the optional DataOverwriteSecurity System, which protects information by automatically overwriting data on the hard drive after each copy, scan, fax and print job.
As with all Ricoh products, the Aficio MP C2500/C3000 Series meets ENERGY STAR guidelines by providing energy and supply-saving features including quick start up technology, power-saving sleep modes, duplex and combine copy modes, internal toner recycling mechanism, low noise levels and minimal ozone emissions.
The Aficio MP C2500 is available at a suggested retail price of $10,750 and the Aficio MP C3000 is available for $12,550.
